SYPHICHECK® Dipstick is a modified TPHA-based rapid lateral flow immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Treponema pallidum, the causative organism of Syphilis, in serum or plasma samples.

Principle:
The test is based on a double-antigen sandwich format:

• Recombinant T. pallidum antigen conjugated with colloidal gold binds to anti-treponemal antibodies.

• The immune complexes migrate and are captured by recombinant T. pallidum antigen immobilized at the Test (T) line, forming a visible band.

• The Control (C) line, coated with rabbit globulin, ensures proper test performance.

Performance:

• Sensitivity: 100% correlation with TPHA

• Specificity: Based on recombinant Treponemal antigens targeting IgG & IgM antibodies

• Assay time: 15 minutes
