RETROCHECK WB HIV is a rapid, qualitative immunochromatographic test for the detection of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in serum, plasma, or whole blood samples. This test is suitable for point-of-care screening, clinics, hospitals, and blood banks.

Principle:
The test uses recombinant HIV antigens immobilized on a nitrocellulose membrane:

• HIV antibodies present in the sample bind to colloidal gold-labeled HIV antigens, forming a visible line at the Test (T) region.

• A Control (C) line ensures the test validity.

Performance:

• Detects HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies

• Rapid results: 15–20 minutes

• Highly sensitive and specific, providing reliable screening results
