FLAVISCREEN HCV PLUS is a self-performing, two-site sandwich lateral flow immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of total antibodies (IgM, IgG, IgA) to Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) in serum or plasma samples. It is suitable for screening, diagnostic labs, hospitals, and point-of-care testing.

Principle:

• The test uses a two-site sandwich lateral flow format: antibodies in the sample bind to multi-epitope HCV recombinant antigens conjugated to colloidal gold.

• The immune complexes migrate and are captured by HCV recombinant antigen immobilized at the Test (T) region, producing a visible band if antibodies are present.

• A Control (C) line, coated with rabbit globulin, confirms proper test performance.
