FLAVICHECK HCV WB is a fourth-generation rapid lateral flow immunoassay designed for qualitative detection of total antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) in serum, plasma, or whole blood samples. Ideal for screening, clinical laboratories, blood banks, and point-of-care testing.

Principle:
The test uses a two-site sandwich lateral flow format:

• Sample antibodies bind to multi-epitope HCV recombinant peptide antigens conjugated to colloidal gold.

• The immune complexes migrate and are captured by HCV recombinant peptide antigens immobilized at the Test (T) region, producing a visible band if antibodies are present.

• A Control (C) line, coated with rabbit globulin, ensures proper test function.
